Organic products
Organic farming – a farming system promoting sustainable crop production based on natural means (biological and mineral), not processed in any technologically way.
A hallmark of organic farming is also their location in unpolluted environment, care for the environment and the biological diversity. Absolutely no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, seed dressings, artificial concentrates, genetically modified organisms and ionizing radiations can be used on the crop.
Seeing an opportunity in the development of this branch, Quadrum broadened its range of organic products and since 2008 we became involved in the whole production process starting from the vegetation period through production and ending with delivery to the final customer ( the turnover now represents almost 3% of the total sales).
Our main organic products are: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, black and red currants and rhubarb in term of fruits and zucchini, onions, pumpkins, leeks and green beans as vegetables.

Financial results for 2011
In 2011, we sold approximately 29,000 tons of frozen fruit and vegetables and 14,000 tons of fresh products. Our turnover for last year was over 47 millions EUR.
